Ayestí confirms his promising talent by delivering a trap-infused banger entitled “Bricks”.

With such a unique and recognizable voice and rap flow, you can only remember him. Ayestí proves with this outstanding release that he has a well-deserved place among the greatest.

Sharp flow, infectious production, original recipe, “Bricks” brings something fresh to the game, and this is what we expected from new artists.

Definitely an artist you should keep your eyes on. Listen to “Bricks” right now and discover Ayestí in 7 questions below.

1.Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?

My newest song titled “Bricks” is an experimental, high-energy apology to an ex-girlfriend. I typically use a guitar in beats I use/create, but this one is COMPLETELY different. Long story short, we were good friends on FaceTime, but when we hung out, we didn’t click very well. I always seemed to make her mad. Then, I ended up getting into complications when I began speaking to a new girl, that ended up being her cousin. One line I state “I didn’t mean to go talk to your cousin”. If she heard this song today, she’d immediately know it was about her.

2. What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?

I try to mesh genres in each song I create by staying connected with my lyrical roots while adding the melodic feel on Hip-Hop today. I listen to every single genre of music and incorporate that in each song I make. I would describe my music as if the band “All Time Low” combined with Juice WRLD and Tyler the Creator while giving Lil Wayne a handshake. “4gmusiq” is a the product of that encounter

3. Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

Seeing my “Spotify Wrapped 2019” next to my “Spotify Wrapped 2020” is easily the best feeling I’ve had in my career. True support and listeners. Going from roughly 10k streams to 100k streams in a year was so motivating for me and makes me keep going!

4. How do you balance your music with other obligations — family, friends or work?

Balancing is definitely the hardest part of being an artist. I generally have to make a sacrifice. As a college student, boyfriend, Employee, and artist my main sacrifice has unfortunately been sleep. I’ve ended up asleep in the studio MULTIPLE times simply because of grinding. I made everything in my life part time and include friends and family in studio time, that way nothing and nobody is getting left out.

5. What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

Stay consistent! I have seen too many local artists who make great quality music and give up because they aren’t being recognized. I was at a point where I thought to just quit because I felt like i was wasting time. DO NOT STOP. Learn and Adapt.

6. If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

The biggest thanks anyone can give. I LITERALLY would not be where I am today without each and every one of you guys.

7. What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?

I’ve got some singles lined up starting in mid-April. We could see an Album drop around November…. we’ll see. A name change is also in the works. I like the sound of “Ayestí”, that is (A-Yes-T).
