BOOTLEG MAG

DISCOVER NEW MUSIC EVERYDAY

1. Tell us about your new song? And what’s the story behind it?

Before I recorded BLACKOUT I had just got off a flight and touched down at the studio. I was off the liquor n a couple things and puked outside. I don’t feel like I was really even rapping when I recorded, I was sitting down in the booth, High and feeling like trash, talking my shit all monotone into the mic. It sounded fye so I kept going. The song was done in 20 minutes then I passed out. You can feel all that in my voice on the track, very authentic.

2. What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?

I’m a monster, so I make music about stuff monsters do. I don’t use beats, I write lyrics during my day about the things I see, say, and do. To me that's what makes my music so unique, my life has never been simple or similar to anyone. I fucking hate people, and love drugs, that influence translates heavily into my sound.

3. Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?

I made a song that hundreds of millions of people know all the words too even if they didn’t mean to. That’s pretty cool, but I’ll be proud of myself when I do it 100 more times. When Drake followed me and told me he liked my song I was tweakin. Right then I knew I was doing something crazy with this rap shit.

4. How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends, or work?

I ate my family for dinner. My friends are my family now otherwise I keep to myself, but I would say having solid people is key. Fuck working, sell crack.

5. What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

Do whatever the fuck you want. There are no standards anymore just get to the bag by any means, never stop working.

6. If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

I’m just an ugly guy saying ugly things and I fucking LOVE anyone that ever took time out of their lives to listen to my music, it’s truly insane and so fucking incredible anyone listens to me. I hope you degenerate die with a positive K/D ratio!

7. What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?

I’m collaborating with a few artists I like, I've been making crazy music this year and I’ve got special shit planned + SADFRIENDD and I have an EP on the way titled “Now That’s What I Call Sad”, it’s fucking beautiful.
